I have had the strangest error. I first thought it was my server but the datacenter was telling me it is the driver being used by virtualizor.

I would like to know if this is a common issue. Or is it just something for kvm. The server has an unstable connection and goes on and off online, not the complete server but just the connection.

So they said that the solution to this problem is  http://www.doxer.org/resolved-intel-e1000e-driver-bug-on-82574l-ethernet-controller-causing-network-blipping/

However i find it odd if this is a known issue why this hasn't been solved in the problem.

Can some one tell who has the problem here or did we configure something wrong.

Hi,

This driver as said is only used inside the vps if e1000 nic is enabled.

We have never faced such issue with the e1000 nic. Do you face issue with linux or on windows vps.

You can update the driver to the latest version and check.

i read that you can't use every nic because of the connection speed. Or do they all support 1gb?
