Please Add Backup to DropBox, GoogleDrive and 4shared option...

at least you should add option, backup to googledrive in Softaculous....

Hi,

We are already working on the backup to DropBox and will add it soon.

We will also try to add the other backup options as well.

Great idea! I something happens to my server I'm covered. That would be the most important feature of backup module - ever!

Can't wait to see it implemented. I saw some Dropbox backup option as WordPress plugins, but I'd always prefer using Softaculous.

Thanks mike-pro for Recommending my Idea...

I donot Like Wordpress Apps to Backup my site in GoogleDrive or DropBox, they are very slow and can create huge problems...

My Favourite option is Softaculous to Backup the Site and i want there should be option to Backup the site to GoogleDrive and DropBox and also to Restore from GoogleDrive and DropBox too.

I hope that team/staff of Softaculous will add immediately DropBox and GoogleDrive Backup Restore Options in Softaculous .....

I second the idea to :angel:

integrate Softaculous with Google Drive and Dropbox :angel:

. It would be a great and mature addition to an already very good site utility. Backing up to the same server as the live site is better than nothing, but it doesn't help you when the hosting server crashes and they say "Sorry! Your files are gone."

...have tried several WordPress backup plugins, but haven't found anything that's not outrageously expensive and just "works".

Will be good to have the option to backup to Owncloud to and not depend on providers.

I am watching this for some time now... how can it be that this takes more than a year to add?
I have some servers with Installatron (they have DropBox support) but I am thinking to change to Softaculous because the support @ installatron is CRAP!

However, when I see that a back-up like this takes more than a year to implement I am doubting what to do...

Hi,

We are extremely sorry about this.

I know the DropBox backup feature took much longer than expected, this was due to severe testing required for this feature.

We already have a new version i.e. 4.7.2 in testing phase hence we will not be able to include Dropbox in this version but it will be definitely included in the next version i.e. 4.7.3

Again sorry about the delay in adding this feature.
