Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	Hello, I'd like to know if it's possible to have a dedicated server for the master and then other datacenters utilize dedicated servers as the slaves that we can put 10 VPS on each slave server? This is probably how it works but I'd still like confirmation. What happens if the master server goes down for like 8 hours? do the slave servers in other datacenters also go down? What happens technically? If the master reboots and comes back do the slaves in other DCs re-negoitate? Also what would happen (technically) if the master server never came back? would the VPS on other slave machines still function? For how long? and what happens if? Thanks
