Softaculous https://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php? <![CDATA[Ampps on Linux]]> https://www.softaculous.com/board/index.php?tid=17868&tpg=1#p53314 There are several things unusual about installing Ampps on Linux.
S.O: Linux Manjaro x64 + Cinnamon

1º Letters are small. It is impossible to read.
2º Apache for some reason doesn't start and I can't and the log doesn't show anything.

3º MongoDB and FTP Service is not displayed in the menu. In my case it only shows Apache, PHP 5.5 and MySQL. I only know this because it's the same Services it shows on Windows.
I need help...Thanks!

I wish to have Sogo added as a mail client if possible.

It is listed as Free and Open Source.

This software is equal to Rainloop and RoundCube.

If so, how did you install the required "sodium php" extension?

Thanks

I just started a book about how to use MySQL and PHP and they recommended installing Ampps and like others, it is simply not running. I've updated Mac OS again and uninstalled and reinstalled Ampps. Please let me know if there is more information I can provide.

It is likely that the needed ports (80 and 3306) are being used by other apps. Also ensure that you have internet connection when running AMPPS for the first time. I hope that helps.]]>

Make sure port 80 is not being used by another program whilst ensuring that you have elevated file permission or administrative permissions on all AMPSS folder and subfolders.]]>

Did you find someone to help you

Hello Mike. Actually, last year I abandoned MAMP PRO and AMPPS as well, and I am now using a different web server software. This software is really cool in that it automtically creates a LetsEncrypt account internally, automatically creates the LetsEncrypt certificates, and automatically renews them as needed, without any manual intervention on my part. I just set it all up once in the web server configuration, and it has been smooth sailing ever since.

So which server are you currently using? I am getting frustrated with AMPPS. ]]>
