Can't send emails using TLS

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	I have several apps installed and on none of them I've been able to have them send email using TLS. I get a timeout error. If I configure the app to send email (using SMTP) with no encryption on port 26 it works. When I change to TLS over port 465 it doesn't work (bluehost SMTP is port 465) This is consistent with all the apps I've tried, so something tells me it's probably AMPPS. I have ssmtp installed and it works fine using the same configuration. Only apps in AMPPS can't send. Any help would be great, as without the ability to email most of the apps aren't very useful.
