Topic : Cloning WP doesn't work correctly. Specifically, serialized entries in the database are damaged during domain string replacement.

The most immediately obvious problem is widgets being displayed incorrectly or not at all. This is a typical symptom of "straight" search & replace operations, where serialized strings are damaged.
