Hello,

Sir, Virtualizor can not be installed on Debian OS. Please refer the requirements list in our installation documentation : http://www.virtualizor.com/wiki/Main_Page

Please reformat the server with CentOS or Ubuntu so you can install Virtualizor, or open a support ticket so we can process a refund for you.

Thanks and regards,
Virtualizor team.

My i ask, why you support Ubuntu that is a Desktop distro, that have a lot of useless apps running wasting resources, and don't support Debian that i mostly compatible with it and have smaller footprint?

At our company we use Debian on every host system that we use except for one with Virtualizor.

Can i get a reason why Ubuntu is and Debian is not supported?

To support ubuntu and not debian is very strange, it actually feels slightly embarrassing..

I would not be surprised that you could just install the same way on debian and it would work without any problems.

Ubuntu LTS maybe provide longer support, but after some time yes, updates are incoming but only on "some" packages, and i somehow got less problems making more frequent updates from version to version than waiting 2-3years, because then almost always (when jumping over few versions) something goes wrong...

But yea .. I'm still happy that we have at least one distro from debian family :) But i personally prefer pure debian :)

now that ProxMox has been added - since it is a debian based distro - is there any chance we will see debian support added?
