Hola.

I have purchased a /28 subnet from hetzner and i'm having trouble adding it to Virtulizor.

It all seems to add ok and the first usable address is assigned to the server upon creation but is not pingable.

I have tried various guides and combinations (nat on/off. routed on/off etc...) but with no luck.

If it's related, I did have a single additional ip from hetzner that
worked fine on a VPS but suddenly stopped working earlier today. it
doesn't seem relevant anymore though as I will be using IPs from the
subnet instead (hopefully).

I got the following information from hetzner for the subnet:

==========================
Below you will find the IP subnet added to your server #000000, and statically routed on the IP xxx.xx.xx.xxx. (this is the original and primary server ip)

Subnet: xxx.xxx.xxx.112 /28

Netmask: 255.255.255.240

Broadcast: xxx.xxx.xxx.127

Usable IP addresses: xxx.xxx.xxx.113 to xxx.xxx.xx.126
==========================

I have obviously removed the IP address's myself.

I have tried various guides from both Virtualizor and Hetzner with no success with either, hence creating this topic.

This is a newly setup server and can be re-setup if anything major needs to be done as it's not in production at the moment.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You just need to follow this guide :

https://virtualizor.com/wiki/NAT

And after adding, try to ping the gateway .
If it fails to work then you will need to contact your provider.
