Softaculous

Topic : TikiWiki deleted itself.

Posted By: danuniversal on May 13, 2012, 7:55 am
I installed TikiWiki 8.4 with softaculuos, a few hours ago, and mysteriously all the files of the tikiwiki folder disappeared, while I was trying to modify the htaccess file, changing the name from _htaccess to .htaccess as it is instructed, to have the special search engine optimized URLs. It is a very dangerous bug or error or something, because I lost all the progress I made with that website.

This is the log:

Code
PHP Warning: require_once(lib/tikiticketlib.php) [<a href='function.require-once'>function.require-once</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/

I don't understand exactly what happened, but according to Arvixe support, the problem might be an error on TikiWiki installation. So, if it is, I suggest you to check it and fix it. Thank you.

Hi,

Sir according to what you said it seems that the installation was working fine before you modified the files.
Please try to rename the .htaccess to _htaccess again and try if it works.

It seems to be a bug with TikiWiki if it does not work after modifications. If it still does not work it might be a TikiWiki bug and we will contact the TikiWiki team regarding the issue.

As I said, all the files deleted, including the htaccess file. So I could not do what you are asking me to do.

Hi,

If the files were deleted from your server it doesn't seem to be Softaculous issue because after the installation is done Softaculous has no control over it.
Please make a new install and test this again. Also we recommend you take a backups regularly:
