Topic : Names server extension when registering whith WHMCS

Hi,

for me it is still unclear why end customers have to define their nameserver extensions when registering a VPS via WHMCS.
Customers are quite often confused and stop the registration process at this step.

A.) Are these fields necessary on order to create a VM with OpenVZ (i dont think so)
B.) How can i delete the question from the order form in WHMCS?
C.) I case these fields are necessary in order to create a VM: How can i define a standard value?

If you create a Product with Type VPS/Dedicated Server in WHMCS then these fields are by default added by WHMCS to the product, however Virtualizor does not use these Values.

In Virtualizor No, but WHMCS will give an error if these fields are blank.

You cannot delete these fields, a work around is to create a Product with type "Other" so that these fields are eliminated.

Not required in Virtualizor.

It's also common for people to hide these fields in the configureproduct.tpl file. I have no idea why WHMCS haven't created an option to disable these fields.
