Topic : do i have to do a permession to all files???!

doesn't make , now i had to type those command to have my file permissions to php!!
chown -R soft:soft /home/soft/public_html/index.php

:??:

do i have to do all of this to all files and folders ?? one bye one !!!

that's doesn't make any sense .

ALSO how to select all files at once from hostmanager !!

seriously you better have answer to this or your software is useless!!

Hi,

It is required that the files located at /home/USER have the owner and group set to the USER.

No Sir, a command of the type will do the trick for all the files/folders
Root> chown -R soft:soft /home/soft/

Uploading files to /home/USER using a FTP client logged in as USER will save you from the hassle of setting permissions to the files/folders.
