Hi,

I run into a issue I cant figure out.
I have a basic VPS froma2hosting that is a basic install of Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS (GNU/Linux 5.4.0 x86_64). But when I install Webuzo I get an error:
The following errors occured :
Could not make the Webuzo binary
ERROR : There was an error while installing Webuzo

I tried this several times and get the same issue. Here is the full session, for review. Does anyone have a idea what this could be.

Hi,

I have resolved this.
However, I had it resolved by asking support to reinstall this and include Webuzo.

I did the trail below twice and it always had the same issue, so a solution would still be desired for the next time.

Thanks to all of you.

So what I had to do to get this to work in the past is also remove:

apache2-bin
apache2-data, and
apache2-doc

Probably not all required, but those were still showing up and giving errors. Once I removed and purged those I was good to go.

Hi Protondrive,

It seems that your server does not have a GCC package.

We recommend you to install webuzo on fresh os, so you will not face this issue again.

If you face any issue while installing webuzo, you can open support ticket "https://webuzo.com/contact/"
