When I try to install the joomla 
I get
  • The MySQL Connection could not be established.
I am using cpanel on softaculous 3.0
I am in need of some help.

  Hello,

i have the same problem. I sent a mail requesting support 2 days ago and haven't received a reply yet. Did you manage to find out why this problem occurs?
The problem occurs on cPanel with the new database mapping feature enabled.

did you receive them? i see that your mx is google, please check in the spam folder, sometimes our mails end up there.

Hi,

Have you exceeded the maximum number of databases allowed ? Also are you able to create a database from the cPanel MySQL Wizard ?

I'm having the same issue, cpanel says the server is fine, Softaculous support is taking days to respond....  then they said it was something wrong with cpanel...

Has anyone had any success in fixing this ??/

Hi,

Sir we have checked your issue. One of your server has an issue with your MySQL when we tried to create a database and database user we got the following error :
MySQL® Database Wizard

There was a problem creating the user. Show Details
The mysql server is offline.

We have opened a ticket with cPanel team on your behalf and awaiting their response.

And regarding the other server your cPanel version seems to be very old, can we update cPanel on your server ? It seems that the cpanel API is no longer supported with that version of cpanel.
