Softaculous <![CDATA[Magento 1 installation fails]]>
Magento 1 is an old version of Magento and requires mcrypt extension. This extension was removed in PHP 7.2.0 are you using PHP 7.2 or higher ?

If yes you will need to use a lower version of PHP. ]]>

I'm trying to install Magento and it fails with the following error:
Required PHP extension not found : mcrypt

Is there any way to fix this? I had a quick look in the settings but couldn't find anything.

On Softaculous 5.3.6, if that makes a difference :)]]>

<![CDATA[Any way to prevent staging backups / have them expire?]]>
If you have root access to the server you can edit the following setting :
$globals['off_push_to_live_backup'] = '';
$globals['off_push_to_live_backup'] = 1;
in the following file :

If this setting does not exist please add it before $globals['ampps_path']

Once this setting is saved no backups will be created before Pushing the site to live.]]>

<![CDATA[Auto Install by panel]]>
It seems there is some confusion. The above guide you posted is for the Blesta auto install module i.e. the Blesta auto install module is supported on cPanel, Plesk, CentOS Web Panel.

However the Blesta script itself works on all panels. All the scripts including SuiteCRM and Invoice Ninja works on all panels supported by Softaculous.

P.S : Blesta auto install module is a module for Blesta which can auto install applications on the control panel accounts created by Blesta.

Do let us know if you have any questions.]]>
