Hi!
I got some errors on localhost on my page. Can anyone describe how to solve this?
I am using PCLinuxOS, and are currently logged in as root.
I also use session on my pages.

Code
Warning: Unknown: open(/root/tmp/sess_v8mn276bj48hs7ude718u8utj5, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0
and
Code
Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct () in Unknown on line 0

Maybe it will work if the permisson are right in /tmp? If so, what commands to use in Terminal to fix this?

Hi,

Yes it is related to permission.

You can set the /tmp directory for sessions at different location:
http://in1.php.net/session_save_path

Also you can change the same from PHP Configuration, search for the option "session.save_path" and change its value.
