 Magento, installation problem (4 Replies, Read 7514 times)

Hi

When i am installing Magento i first get :
Exception printing is disabled by default for security reasons

After i setup chmod or renaming local.xml.sample as people suggested i get this:

PDOException Object error.

Is there any solution please.

Hi there!

Usually when this happens, it will spit an error number on the page that lists 'exception printing is disabled by default'.

Take this error number and login to your FTP. Navigate to var/report and view the file that corresponds to your error number.

In the first few lines or so, you'll notice an error message. We'll need that error in order to troubleshoot.

Its ok support was fast to help me there was a compatibility problem with  the BTREE they fixed my script everything works fine now.
