How do I install ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so in DirectAdmin?

You will need to edit your php.ini
You can ask your host to do it for you.

Lol I am the host. That's why I'm asking about it. I had to install it once before but instead of being told how it's done, they just did it for me and I'm having the worst luck finding anyone that knows how to install it that'll show or tell me how.

Hi there! Here's a snippet that might help :)

Note: Replace x86-64 with i386 for a 32 bit OS

Code

cd /root/
wget downloads2.ioncube.com/loader_downloads/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz
tar -zxvf ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz
cd ioncube
mkdir /usr/local/ioncube/
cp ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so /usr/local/ioncube/


In php.ini:

Code
zend_extension = /usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so
