Softaculous

Topic : So can I only let Admins use Softaculous?

Posted By: joelpeterson on August 27, 2016, 2:49 am
So maybe it's right in front of my nose but we have a situation where we are hosing Wordpress sites for our clients and we don't want them to have the Softaculous link in their cpanel....as we only installed it to help us to Wordpress installs faster.

Is there a setting to hide the link when they are logged in but make the link there when we as admins login through WHM?

Thanks..

You can offer WordPress only for your clients in Softaculous by disabling all scripts and only enable WordPress from Softaculous Admin panel->General Scripts:

At the moment it is not possible we will try to add this soon.

Thanks....

I found a work around.  We created a cpanel package called ADMIN INSTALLS

When we create the users account we assign it that one.  We do the custom wordpress install for them and then we changed their package to something that doesn't have the Sooftaculous option.

That works for us.
