 Installation error on a Cpanel Server (1 Replies, Read 13911 times)

Cant install on a cpanel server. Php83 not installed on server. php81 and php82 available, ioncube also activated. But the installer throwing the following error.

Failed loading /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/php/unversioned/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_8.3.so:  /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/php/unversioned/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_8.3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ionCube Loader is not loaded. Please enable it to continue installation[root@server34 ~]# cd  /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/php/unversioned/ioncube/


How can I install it with php82 or php74

Hi,

cPanel released v120.0.12 in which they upgraded 3rd party PHP binary to PHP 8.3 and it does not include ionCube loaders.

Softaculous requires ionCube loaders and due to the above mentioned release Softaculous does not work on cPanel v120.0.12

cPanel team has opened a bug report here :
https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/24660301532439-cPanel-internal-PHP-fails-to-load-Ioncube-on-cPanel-version-120
