I would like to suggest the new flarum forum software https://flarum.org/ I just came over it on the new forum from acymailing (and i guess the guys there know what they use) https://forum.acymailing.com/ Requirements are here https://docs.flarum.org/install.html#server-requirements It looks very nice - clear and beautiful and easy to use - maybe you would like to check it and put it in your pipeline?
