ERROR: Fatal error: The file /Applications/AMPPS/ampps/scripts/wp/php53/install.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader. in Unknown on line 0

Ampps is installed since 2 years and I assume after the latest update I am getting this error whenever I tried to install something from the App home page. Wordpress, openblog and clicking anything on the left side is throwing this error. I have changed the Php version to 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6 and 7. I have updated the ioncube loader from their website. I have found the correct files and following the loader-wizard I have updated the ioncube and tried with all versions of php but it still is giving this error.

I have seen some other topics about this error from 2014. I assume I have tried many logical ones. Any help appreciated.

ioncube_loader_dar_5.3_ts.so

This file was missing for some reason. It all worked fine after I put the file from the zip file I have downloaded from ioncube website. I have no idea how that file is vanished.

One other thing I have realized is; The error was always showing this path even the php version was 5.6 or 5.4 see below.
Applications/AMPPS/ampps/scripts/wp/php53

It was always looking for php53 folder, Is this normal. Do I need to reinstall ampps?

Hi Hakang,

May be Ioncube file got deleted accidentally.
Yes its looks for php53 because its work that way and it is normal.
Is everything working properly now ?
