I am using WHMCS and Softaculous to allow users to purchase their hosting plans and have it automatically set up on payment.  All works great except I can't seem to find anything in my searches or in the documentation on how to hook into the installation process and after Wordpress is installed, install a theme inside that Wordpress install's theme folder and also import data in the that install for placeholder things like theme specific navigation and content placeholders.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi,

You can create your Custom package :
http://softaculous.com/docs/Making_Custom_Package
and then add it to the WHMCS auto install module :
