Good Afternoon,

We'll like to install this on one of our production servers but need to understand how to do this and what will happen.

The current server is running XenServer 7.0 and will be upgraded to 7.1 before we install Virtualizor.

The partitions are set up currently as;

NAME  MAJ:MIN RM  SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda      8:0    0  2.7T  0 disk
??sda1  8:1    0  18G  0 part /
??sda2  8:2    0  18G  0 part
??sda3  8:3    0  2.7T  0 part

tdc    254:2    0 1000G  0 disk
tdd    254:3    0  500G  0 disk
tde    254:4    0  100G  0 disk
tdf    254:5    0  20G  0 disk
tdg    254:6    0  7.2G  1 disk
loop0    7:0    0 54.8M  1 loop /var/xen/xc-install

[root@enterprise nathan]#

What will happen once Virtualizor is installed? From a previous conversation none of the current VM's will be wiped or damaged. Can you confirm this?

Hi,

Sir it should not cause any issue.
After installing you will need to add the storage (i.e. VG) and you will need free space in that VG as while installing Virtualizor you will need to pass space for media LVM where the templates will be stored.

Let us know.
