We will work on it soon.
But at the moment we are working on some other features in Softculous.

-----------------------
For immediate support please email us at our Support email address. PMs sent to any Softaculous Team member or posting in the forums is not the official way to get support.

Webuzo - It is Softaculous Standalone for Enterprises, SMB, Developers. Deploy it on Dedicated Servers, VPS, Virtual Appliances or the Cloud
Pinguzo - Server and Domain Monitoring tool
PopularFX - Marketplace of WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Bootstrap themes
Remote Installer - Use Softaculous over FTP/FTPS/SFTP

Hi,

Sorry for the delays in implementing Softaculous for Virtualmin.

The development for Virtualmin support in Softaculous is currently stopped due to some other priorities.

We do have it in our to do list.

Hi,

Unfortunately we are currently not working on Virtualmin integration due to other tasks with higher priority.

We will try to resume integration on the same when possible.

That is, what I understood from the former posts. My question is: is there anything that we (as community) could do in order to make it become reality? Crowd funding? Support? Warm words?

Posted By: Brijesh on February 26, 2018, 6:43 am | Post: 33
The task to integrate with Virtualmin is on low priority because our team could not find much bigger market against the resources required to integrate.

If you could somehow get us in touch with the Virtualmin team we can re-evaluate the market together and see if we can get the on higher priority.

Pls take this up with priority.

https://www.virtualmin.com/node/38924

It should not be very difficult to implement this, there is lot of documentation for virtualmin and they are quiet responsibe.

I have linked a post where i tried to install it myself.

So where is the discussion stuck? give me the details, i will follow up with Jamie..

Can you let us also know what kind of time we are looking at ? for you guys to get this working?

Posted By: Brijesh on August 8, 2018, 9:44 am | Post: 46
Hi,

Before we start working on the integration we need to evaluate the market for Softaculous in Virtualmin.

Virtualmin has its own installer and hence we were discussing with Virtualmin team if we can replace the existing installer with Softaculous.

Posted By: stellaraps on August 8, 2018, 9:52 am | Post: 47
Well why would they remove their own and give you guys the control? will you offer them free license ? or what was your proposal..

That makes sense why Jamie stopped entertaining you guys.

Looks this will not happen.. You are interest only in the money aspect of things.. i see it clearly..

See here how they have done it .. and co-exist with Virtualmin ..

Hi,

We have discussed a proposal with them which is beneficial for them as well.

We are not interested ONLY in money aspects however we definitely have to consider the same as one of the aspects as we are investing resources to work on the integration.

This thread was started in 2009, almost 10 yrs back and you guys are still planning in 2018 .. i think this thread in 2028 would still not have any results..

what a waste of time.

This is why we've started moving away from Softaculous. Lying to customers for 10 years only to tell them eventually there's not enough money in it for you. Nevermind that their other offerings like Sitepad are complete trash.
