Hello everyone, I'm new to softaculous.

So if I want to copy the wordpress package, I enter this command into ssh?

mkdir /var/softaculous/mywp/
cp -r /var/softaculous/wp/* /var/softaculous/mywp/

Here is the guide I'm following.

I'm following the "custom wordpress package" guide.

Thank you in advance!

So, I should use AMPPS to create the script first? Or should I enter the commands on my server?

Hi,

You can choose any option.

If you prefer to develop locally and after it is working you want to try on production server you can use AMPPS.

Or if you have a DEV server online or want to try on production server directly you can start with your server itself without AMPPS.
