cPanel has two PHP version:
1) for internal use i.e. the WHM andd cPanel
2) For the WWW
Your update of PHP was to the WWW PHP and not the cPanel PHP. Hence it still shows 5.2.6
Do you know if it's possible to upgrade the cPanel's PHP Version without any
server issues?
I talked to my VPS Provider about this and this was there response:
It is cPanel/WHM that controls that PHP version solely. I'm not sure
what would happen if that was upgraded but if it was it would probably
cause internal issues.
But i noticed in the Softaculous Admin Demo on this site it shows your PHP Version as 5.2.10. So i was wondering if you had upgraded your cPanel's PHP Version manually. Or do you use a cPanel Build that features later versions of the Software cPanel uses? I know some companys like to use the cPanel CURRENT Builds and cPanel EDGE Builds. I use the latest cPanel RELEASE Build.
Any information on this would be most helpful!
