First of all congrats to the Softacuous team for comming up with such a great installation script.  :xd:

And now to the point at hand.

Seeing that so many people are using wordpress for thier websites and blogs. Why isn't the wordpress script offered in your free install of the Softaculous installer?

I rencently subscribed to Cirtexhosting for one of my domains and thats how I found out about you guys. They also have the Fantastico installer in the cpanel which is good because I can install Wordpress on my server.

I do believe that adding the Wordpress script to the free license would be an absolute plus to The Softaculous Installer.

Thanks  ;-D

Hi,

WordPress is there in the Premium Version.
Please advise your host to upgrade to our Premium License and consider not spending more on Fantastico.

Softaculous has a Fantastico Importer.

Alons

Because Softaculous makes money for scripts that are in demand. Wordpress is one of them. Softaculous may not profit if they move Wordpress to free edition

Hey on this note, I have found that Softaculous is not reporting the correct installed version of Wordpress blogs.  The Wordpress upgrade was done manually for an installation 2.9.2, yet  Softaculous shows the current installation to be: 2.9.1.  Should Softaculous recognize manually updated scripts to their actual versions?

Hi,

If you manually upgrade then Softaculous will not be able to show the correct version.
