Topic : New Post button opens old post

I upgraded to the new Pagelayer and Pagelayer Pro plugins a few days ago. Today, for the first time, I went to add a new post, when I click on "Add New Post" button at the top of my posts page, it brings a post from about a week ago. Now that original post has an ID of  1737, but the url for the button to add new post is the "post-new.php". I found out that it is the Pagelayer Pro plugin causing the problem because when I deactivate the plugin it now allows me to create a new post. But if I re-enable the Pro plugin it keeps coming up with the same already create post in edit mode.

I tried creating a new post with the pro disabled and then re-enabling it again once it was created, but, with Pro activated, it loads the same older post. I know the URL is opening the new post because it is trying to load the post with an ID of 1940.

Next I tried deleting Pagelayer Pro and downloading a fresh copy of the plugin but once I install it again and activate the plugin the problem is still there.

Please if anyone knows how to fix this so I can use the Pro version let me know what to do.

Thanks
