I just did a fresh install of Virtualizor on Ubuntu server 18.04 LTS.

then I type in server-ip:4084 it pops up the login page.

However I cannot login using any of users on the server.

Based on doc it says using root details, so what's the username for root login? Can someone explain a bit?

I suggest NOT to use Ubuntu, however there are plenty of google search results about how to get root password (or set it) for ubuntu.

But do not use CentOS 8 as it will be EOL in 1 year. There is still several years left on CentOS 7.

I know RedHat killed CentOS for the success of the Redhat stream thing.

But there is a very good alternative from one of the best vendors iaginable for this:
The makers of famous Cloudlinux have announced that they will offer a fully supported CentOS8 fork .
I will switch to this one then.

Also the founder of CentOS is now doing Rocky Linux. That's the one I am looking forward to.

Hi,

We would be looking at :

Oracle Linux
Rockylinux
Project Lenix
Cloudlinux

and probably end support for Scientific Linux.

Why the Scientific Linux is discontinued? The new version 7 is available but the Virtualizor support only 5.5?

Any ETA to get the templates for the following OS:
Oracle Linux
Rockylinux
Project Lenix
Cloudlinux

I'm using Centos instead, however, if the issue is solved I want to move to Ubuntu.

If you are a die-hard Windows fan and love to report bugs and issues, it is handy to have on hand. However, it can also interfere with the functionality of your operating system. One of the ways is interfering directly with your Control Panel. If you are experiencing difficulties with Control, you might want to put this service on hold. To do so, follow these steps:

Open the Run command by pressing Win + R.
Click OK after typing "msconfig."
Go to the Services tab in the system configuration settings.
Uncheck the box for Windows Error Reporting Service.
Click on Apply and then hit Ok.
