I've had several VMs fail to come up after a reboot recently, because the symlinks don't exist under /etc/libvirt/qemu/autostart. Does Virtualizor not have a way of handling/configuring this?

Hi,

Virtualizor does create an entry for every VM in /etc/libvirt/qemu/autostart/ when a VM is created.

Are you not able to see all the VM entries under that folder ?

Until yesterday, no, several of them were missing; and this isn't the first time it's happened, I've recreated them previously. I recreated them last night, if it happens again I'll report the problem in more detail.

On another note, out of curiousity, why did the VIDs start having a "v" prefixed?

Please do report to us if you face the similar issue.

To avoid collision of VID's and ID's.
In KVM commands are passed to a VM using the VM VID or its ID.
Virtualizor uses the VID to pass a command to the VM so when the number of VMs crosses 1000 then a VM may have VID as 1000 and a different VM may have 1000as its ID and as ID is given preference the command is executed on a different VM rather than the target one, so to avoid collision the prefix 'v' is used.

Hi, also confirm that entries are not being put into  /etc/libvirt/qemu/autostart/ when creating VPS in Virtualizor.

Running Centos 7 KVM slave.
