Dear All,

I know this is old and I have read all the instruction and previous post and still hasn't manage to fix it.

I do have read links below:
http://www.webuzo.com/docs/index.php?title=Add_Domain&redirect=no
http://www.webuzo.com/wiki/Manage_Domain

Here is my case:
my ip is http://188.166.69.195/
I have installed webuzo to this IP and have added domain satutekno.com to webuzo
and you can see http://188.166.69.195/ and http://188.166.69.195/satutekno.com have different index.html file

I have assigned
NS1.satutekno.com.
NS2.satutekno.com.
NS3.satutekno.com.
to domain

but it still points to http://188.166.69.195/, rather than http://188.166.69.195/satutekno.com

Any solution how to fix this ? :P   :P

Step by step explanation will be much appreciated

Thanks

Hi,
you have to log in into Webuzo, go on add domain than add your server ip if this not exist already in manage domain.

Here when you adding you can choose where the domain points so put the patch directory desidererei.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

You are facing this issue because you might have added your domain http://satutekno.com/ as the primary domain in Webuzo Admin Panel -> Settings -> Nameservers

Due to this you domain http://satutekno.com/ always resolves to http://188.166.69.195/

If you wish to point http://satutekno.com/ to http://188.166.69.195/satutekno.com, you will have to add domain as addon domain.

You can use the following steps:
1) Please change you primary domain to test.com (temporarily) from 188.166.69.195:2004/index.php?act=webuzoconfigs
So your current primary domain becomes a parked domain.

2) Delete your current domain from 188.166.69.195:2002/index.php?act=domainmanage
and add it again as an add-on domain with the path you want.

3) Then again change your primary domain from 188.166.69.195:2004/index.php?act=webuzoconfigs
and delete the domain test.com

Hope this helps.

Please let us know if you need any further information. We will be happy to help you.

I have raised the question in open ticket and someone has helped me fixing things
Just trying to get back from him about what has been done and Can I fix it by myself if it occurs again in the future. Basically I am sure I put it as an AddOn Domain (not a parked domain either) and still not sure what happen... Oh Well...

For right now, it is working, I wouldn't want to try fixing the working things. I will try your suggestion if something happen in the future.

Webuzo is kinda unique. It should have been automated and GUI based, but for some reasons these things happen, though it has been much better than last year

*If someone from the forum board sees this, please kindly delete this thread as I was wrong posting in this forum before waiting for answer in help ticket :) Thank you*

I had this happen to me after I installed an SSL certificate. It took me awhile to figure it out, I think I saw some clue in a error log file, but when I deleted the cert, it started working fine. Don't know why that would cause that issue, but at least I figured it out.

is it your primary domain???

if yes your root domain is public_html/ not public_domain/domain.com

and then, if youre using apache your answer should be on /usr/local/apps/apache/etc/conf.d/webuzoVH.conf

Thanks for your attempts to help, but it really has nothing to do with the issue. I know where the paths are, and I'm using nginx anyway. I was just commenting that everything was working on my setup with a primary and a few add on domains, then I installed a StartSSL cerificate, and the next add on domains I added were pointing to the primary domain location. Files were in the correct spot, directories were created just fine. They just weren't going there. I ooked through error logsf for a clue, and saw something about certs in there, can't really remember what now it was awhile ago.

I uninstalled the ssl cert, and it all started working fine. So I got the sites working but it didn't really solve anyhing because I did want an ssl other than self signed for email. I'm taking care of that by hosting my email through a 3rd party site, so it doesn't affect me and I don't have to try to make it work.

Now that Let's Encrypt has gone public beta, I will mess with that just to give myself something to do, and if there are any things particular to installing them on Webuzzo I'll probably make a post here about it.

Yes, i set up so

domain1.com > /home/admin/public_html/domain1.com
domain2.com > /home/admin/public_html/domain2.com

but both point to the main page of the server

Hi,
the folder can't have domain.com as name. Try to change folder name into domain_ext and to point to folder domain_ext

This is only my suggestion. From what i know as Webuzo user is not good call a folder domain.com this can be the issue.

For me all work fine but I have no folder with dot.

I'm having this exact issue. All worked fine prior to installing the SSL. Did anyone solve this at all?
