Should be good to add the update when installing as plugin on a Wordpress installation. I installed a new WP (Softaculous up to date), marked to install Loginizer, but 1.4.9 was installed and required to upgrade to 1.5.1.
You could reproduce on your side easily.

The Loginizer Team has launched version 1.5.1 with the following changes :

1) [Task] Allowed to change the username of any administrator account. Previously it was supported only for user id 1

2) [Bug Fix] Fixed some lines that generated PHP notice

More features will be coming in the next releases.
