Topic : Unable to update wordpress plugins

Posted By: masonbee on December 6, 2018, 7:42 am
Everything was going well until the last update (Apache) and then wordpress won't install updates for plugins ( At least, I haven't gone any further) without an FTP address and password.
Folder and file permissions appear to be fine but as it is happening to all my sites on the webuzo installation I am unable to ascertain whether it is an ownership issue. Everything appears to be owned by me.

Hi,

It seems that suPHP is disabled on your server. You can either enable it from Apache Settings page or else set the permissions of upload/ as 777

Also you can save the FTP login details in wp-config.php file of your WordPress installations. Please refer the below blog for the same:

Let us know if you face any issues further.
