Softaculous

Topic : Gallery not able to upload

Posted By: jumbopihu on March 30, 2015, 4:49 am
Hello,
I am testing webuzo and installed it on fresh Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS server.
I didn't install anything except OpenSSH before. I installed varnish via Webuzo controlpanel.
When I installed Gallery 3 it installed successfully but I'm not able to upload photos.
The public_html directory has user:group as webuzo-user, so I guess apache (webserver) do not have write permission which is preventing this?

suPHP is enabled.

the 'services' page is not loading (index.php?act=services )
is there any other way to check the services?

I've installed the server on my local machine
I also noticed that my root domain is not loading 192.168.x.x
Initially there used to come welcome message from softaculous. Not the root page is not loading. It could be since I installed varnish today.

Thank you.

On CLI when I
Code
$ sudo service webuzo restart

I noticed nginx & php-fpm is stopping/starting.

IIRC webuzo installed apache for me and now I dont see apache. I dont remember installing nginx.
May be that is the reason the websites are not showing up.

Remove Python2 from the Enduser Panel >> Apps >> Server Side Scripting >> Python2

http://www.webuzo.com/wiki/Install_System_Apps

Restart the Apache service from the terminal as follows

sudo service httpd restart

Hope this helps :)

All right, the issue with photo uploading at Gallery was maximum file/ memory allowance. I can change that in PHP setting.
The small image got up successfully.

THank you. You may close the thread.
