Hello, I have AMPPS V2.3 installed on Windows 7 x 64 and working well.

I have been unable even after attempting changes to php.ini configuration to get a php_errors.log file to be created anywhere.

The steps I've taken are:

1) using the control panel, edit PHP.INI, set error_reporting = E_ALL & E_STRICT

2) editing PHP.INI and setting error_log = php_errors.log

3) editing PHP.INI and setting error_log = c:\php_errors.log

After these various steps I have restarted both apache and mysql.  I never seem to get a php_errors.log file anywhere on the system that I can find (used search).

I have created a small php script that simply calls:  error_log( "Please work" );
and executed it but still no php_errors.log.

There are times I need to see the results of some complex operations and writing stuff temporarily to the error_log always worked.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

You can find AMPPS PHP logs in your AMPPS installation folder:

\Ampps\apache\logs\
