Backup from panel for file based storage is not yet possible.
So if you want to backup from panel then you should go with Lvm based storage.

I assume you will be using Kvm Virtualizor, you can set 100Gb on '/' to store host OS files and guest OS templates and set remaining space for Volume Group.

should i use lvm, qcow ....

my server is a dual 10core cpu with 256 gb ram. there are 2 of 2tb ssd in raid 1 and 8 of 300gb sas 10k in a raid 10.

now i have a ~1.9tb ssd and a ~1.1tb sas .

i need ideas for my partitioning.]]>
