I am having an issue with the server time being 3 minutes fast. I have stopped iptables and attempted to updated ntpdate. I receive this error each time no matter what I try: ntpdate[512062]: no server suitable for synchronization found

Code

[root@server adminx]# service iptables stop
iptables: Setting chains to policy ACCEPT: filter          [  OK  ]
iptables: Flushing firewall rules:                        [  OK  ]
iptables: Unloading modules:  iptable_filter iptable_filter[FAILED]es

[root@server adminx]# service ntpd stop
Shutting down ntpd:                                        [  OK  ]

[root@server adminx]# ntpdate pool.ntp.org
22 Aug 11:32:37 ntpdate[512062]: no server suitable for synchronization found

[root@server adminx]# service ntpd start
Starting ntpd:                                            [  OK  ]

[root@server adminx]# ntpq -p
remote          refid      st t when poll reach  delay  offset  jitter
==============================================================================
static-96-244-9 .INIT.          16 u    -  64    0    0.000    0.000  0.000
66-96-98-9.ccup .INIT.          16 u    -  64    0    0.000    0.000  0.000
bitdonut.co    .INIT.          16 u    -  64    0    0.000    0.000  0.000
ha1.smatwebdesi .INIT.          16 u    -  64    0    0.000    0.000  0.000

As you can see above, there is no delay, offset, or jitter time listed. All 0.000

Also, what is the meaning of this part when iptables is stopped.

Code
iptables: Unloading modules:  iptable_filter iptable_filter[FAILED]es

Thank you.
