Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	Hi, may be a stupid question but I just downloaded & installed ampps to my windows laptop to try out some web coding, but then got "license key not found" fatal error when tried to connect to localhost/ampps? can you help?

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	Tried first offline, then uninstalled and reinstalled ampps online with internet connection, and tried connecting to localhost still online. Still same license file not found error. What next?

Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 4 Status:	No, I cannot find license.php there (only licensekey.php in \AMPPS\ampps\softaculous\enduser\main\admin - if that has anything to do with issue). Internet connection is fixed ethernet.

Type the following command in command prompt: Code "path\to\Ampps\php\php.exe" -c "path\to\Ampps\apache\php.ini" "path\to\Ampps\ampps\softaculous\cron.php" look for php.exe in task manager and wait for it to end. I stopped php.exe which was sitting idle, and license.php did not appear in enduser directory. What next?
