Hi all,

I'm testing this product to evaluate if migrate all from actual hypervisor (proxmox) and have a doubt trying from hours to figure out.

I've seen using the LVM storage type it instead to create a file .img or .raw for the virtual machine is creating logical volumes under the volume group set in the admin.

This is good for the snapshots i think but..

If the server of the slave node crash and i need to restore the VMS on it using a rescue disk what is the best strategy?

I got success mounting the Logical volume using Kpartx that has created the maps for the partitions inside the LV, then i've just mounted the root fs of the VM and got all the files inside.

This i think is working, but what if i need to create again a bootable image of this VM?

Any better solutions?

Thanks
Marco
