Hi, I installed ampps, and tried to change the phpMyAdmin password, becuase there wasn't one, I got an error, so I changed it in priviliges in phpMyadmin itself, and now I cannot login, I get the error:

Welcome to phpMyAdmin

Error
MySQL said: Board Image #1045 -
Access denied for user '--USER--' (using password: YES)

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server
rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in
your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given
by the administrator of the MySQL server. I have tried to reset the configuration in Ampps, but no luck. Help!

Hi,

First of all make sure that your MySQL has started.

By default phpMyAdmin doesn't ask for any username or password. You can directly access phpMyAdmin by visiting http://localhost/phpmyadmin

Please undo the changes or re-install AMPPS to make your phpMyAdmin work.

If you want phpMyAdmin to be secured, check out the following link:

http://www.ampps.com/wiki/Security_Center#Secure_PhpMyAdmin

Note: Login Details will be same as MySQL's root details.
