Hi,
1) In many upgrades attention has to be given to the scripts upgradation utility. it may require Admin Password and stuff like that which you wont have. 2) Educational, Frameworks, ERP are already there in Reorder. ----------------------- For immediate support please email us at our Support email address. How about the ability for the user to mark it as already being updated, such as if they had performed the operation in the back end of wordpress. Couldn't that simply update the label of which version the user is currently using?

Response to the first feature: 1st one is very risky and can cause conflicts with users if they have modified the files. the problem with this is if a client has a template for the script, so you decide his script is outdated so you update the script. the client has a template that does not work with the updatesd version, so you have just brought down your clients site by updating the script. Do you think your client would be happy? Edited by easyhost : June 19, 2011, 5:52 pm ----------------------- Majesty Hosting |

Quote From : JonathanAkaJD April 15, 2011, 12:02 am First feature: A feature in the ROOT Softaculous Panel in WHM that would allow the Server Administartor to update a out dated script a client has installed with Softaculous to the latest version available in Softaculous. i currently have an Openc art site which is busy and provides good revenue, this has a cutom template which i currently not compatible with the currently version of Softaculous, so if i were to use this feature 1 on this site then it would bring my site down and lose me income. the people i got the themes from are working on a set of new updates themes, so as soon as they have done this i will then update to currently Softaculous version. ----------------------- Majesty Hosting |
