However I suggest to use the plug-in Easy SMTP than you need know how manage and configure correctly email. First of all maybe for send email without errors you need a valid certificate for emails. This can be the issue of the certificate not accepted. Issue can be different, hope Webuzo Team will able to help you with that issue. I said many time to Webuzo team to improve email by adding Antivirus and Antispam protection. I AM waiting that since 3 years. Maybe (but not sure) I will see in the future email protection, auto responders, etc Webuzo team in all this time has fixed different issue I reported and that's great! Also in the security they fix. I report and they fix so this is very great. Your case was: You asked to be able to use email SMTP in Wordpress. For do that is necessary a valid certificate because now the new PHP is checking the security of the connection. Webuzo have to see if in the future can use Let's Encrypt for generate and use a valid certificate for email and set all to the maximum securty than user has few step to do... actually as you seen I spent more than a day for configure email in your case and I had not enough time to fix your issue after many hours of work. Now I informed Webuzo about your case (but you are not the only one that have issue with relay not permitted and SSL on email) Your Exim is to remove so once in Webuzo should be used the box on top for searching Exim, unistall than reinstall and once done this exim.conf should be customized for use SSL of let's Encrypt. I had already customized dovecot for use your let's encrypt certificate and also hostname of your server has been changed for have the same name used by emails. After edit of Exim relay not permitted should be resolved. Now your SSL on email works fine. I configured your email on Thunderbird and was able to send and receive email ... the error "relay not permitted" is present when you try to send an email to an external address and this is the last things to fix for your case. Once this is fixed you will be able to configure the plugin SMTP Mailer. Finally I suggested this plugin as EasySMTP has gived issues in the past, do not know if now is fixed and SMTP Mailer give logs of what is happening (debug), connection or error info. Hear you soon. Now there are an issue in your server that I think create issue also when you try to use SMTP in Wordpress. You need solve the error: 50X error occurred when you open the FileManager. Maybe this will fix also your SMTP Wordpress issue. Webuzo Team can help you on fix this error with File Manager. I had loosed remote connection with you and at the moment seems I AM unable to connect with you again. When you are trying to connect by SMTP on Wordpress you receved this error : stream_socket_client(): Failed to enable crypto? So maybe ask to Webuzo team if this can be related to the error of File Manager or if can be some issue with Socket. Your email are wroking correctly and your PHP file is set correctly to work with your SMTP settings.,.. so maybe you need first solve the server issue than try again and see. Please update your ticket with Webuzo by explain that Exim issue, mail issue was resolved. Now issue is in the File Manager. You have to try, if not work you need google search how configure php 7.1 and gmail. I will try to post here as soon an update regarding let's Encrypt will be. Regarding your SMTP issue I can just suggest to you to look into internet as you are the manager of your server. Seems to me that you prefer post here instead on looking for a solution on Google if you have chosed to manage a server you should try more and more before post here ... to fix common issue by doing a Google search. I AM happy to help but when I see user are really unable to find a solution also on the Internet. I AM busy, I have also my server issue to fix and much other things to do I AM just an user here who try to help in his free time. I AM happy to see you have started to manage a server, my suggestion is to look more into Google. Seems you have no idea on how PHP is changing and work... try to read more on the web have you searched how to configure PHP 7.1 and SMTP of Google?
