 GATEWAY not being set in ifcfg-eth0 (5 Replies, Read 3994 times)

Whenever I reconfigure or restart a VM, my /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 is overwritten and the GATEWAY is excluded, which prevents networking from outside the host. Have I misconfigured something?

Hello,

Sir, Virtualizor do not alter network-scripts on VM restart. Have you provided Gateway in IP Pool ?

Please open a support ticket so we can closely lok into this issue on your server.

It's possible the change happened during a previous edit, and didn't become apparent until the reboot. It's definitely being deleted during VM edits though, I've had it happen several times.

The gateway is set in the IP Pool. The only thing I don't follow there is the "Use Routed Network" checkbox, should this be checked?

Just had this happen again, unfortunately. Changed the root password on a client VPS, didn't come back up again, same problem.
