Dear Softaculous team,

First of all, I love this software. The staging option has saved me a lot of work in the past months. What I do notice is that I am required to make a backup of the live website in order to push a staging live.

The problem is that the max number of backups is set to 1 in my hosting package. I messaged my hosting provider about this, and they said they could not change this. Can Softaculous do this?

For some hosting accounts, I have multiple installations and stagings. So, I decided to download the backups and save them locally, such that I can push a installation live. The idea is then that when I want to restore a back-up I can upload it and make softaculous restore it. However, I don't see any option to upload the back-ups anywhere.

Interestingly, I do see the back-ups (also older ones) in my FTP in the Softaculous backups folder. Yet the installer does not seem to recognize them.

Can anyone help me?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Can you please open a support ticket with us so we can check this for you :

The backups retention policy can be customized by hosting providers. By default the policy is set to unlimited backups.
