Group: Member Post Group: Newbie Posts: 2 Status:	Is it me or is there a difference between the pc & mac version of Ampps when it comes to the database naming convention? I don't think (on my mac) I had any limits regarding character count (well I never hit them anyway) and the use of underscores was allowed but my new install on my pc won't let me user more than 7 chars and no underscores. Am I losing my mind? I really want to stick to same naming convention on my mac & pc. This throwing a wrench in the works. Any way around it? I never tried but will I be able to manually create the database? Thanks! Loving Ampps BTW!! Mike
