Hi I'm new to this forum, I'm having some issues with mysql on yosemite. I recently updated ampps from version 2.5 to 3.0 and i can't open mysql or PHP admin i receive this error "The mysqli|mysql extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration." I've checked the extension in php extension and the mysql extension mysql.so and mysqlli.so are there and enabled. i tried downgrading the version to 2.7 but i still receive the same error. Any help would be appreciated.

I've just tested creating a new installation of drupal and it successfully created the db but still can't access the sql in the cpanel.

Hi sergiu,

Open Terminal and run this

cd /usr/local/lib
ln -s /Applications/AMPPS/mysql/lib/libmysqlclient.18.dylib .
