Hi - I am running AMPPS on Linux Mint 18.1 but would like to change the default user AMPPS uses to create files and folders in /usr/local/ampps/www

The default user is "ampps", but my login user is "alex".

Therefore when I manually change files in /www, I get a file permissions error.

I tried altering httpd.conf:

sudo nano /usr/local/ampps/conf/httpd.conf

User alex
Group alex
....

and restarted Apache, but this has not worked.

Suggestions most welcome...

Thanks.
