There must be a config file or something somewhere in Apache or AMPPS that I can check to see how this is happening and to fix it. Isn't there?

When I try to browse a subdomain of my live site (eg: asdf.mysite.com), with AMPPS Apache started, I get redirected to a spammy DomainSponsor page.

When I shut down AMPPS Apache, the subdomain points to where it should.

No matter the combination of letters I put in the subdomain, it will redirect to the DomainSponsor page, as long as AMPPS Apache is running.

Hi,

Have you created the domain in Ampps with the same name as that of your subdomain ?

No, I don't even have the directory for the subdomain created locally.

The subdomain only exists on the live host (GoDaddy).

If I use any other computer but mine, I get what I should get. It is only my development computer that gives me the spam page, and only when AMPPS is running, which makes me think that it is something in Apache in AMPPS.

Hi,

Can you provide us the domain name ?

Also can you attach the Ampps\apache\conf\extra\vhosts-httpd.conf here ?

Responded via e-mail to protect our domain.

The contents of the httpd-vhosts.conf file read:
#DO NOT EDIT, CREATED BY AMPPS

This is what I find frustrating. I would have expected something completely different there in order for this problem to exist.

Hi,

Can you try to ping your domains before and after starting Ampps ?

Let us know the output.
