Hello,

I'm having trouble figuring out how custom templates work. Once I have a template customized under OpenVZ and using a CentOS 6 minimal install (updated and with a LEMP running) I create a custom template using that one as the source but it later installs a minimal CentOS 6 with no updates nor LEMP.

But, if I have a control panel (i.e. ISPConfig) and a couple of customs php files and I create a template from it and later use it to create a new VPS, everything gets up and running. Not perfectly as the system configs in ISPConfig (like the server's name) are kept from the old server but still...

I guess my question is... how can I create a pre-configured template that will install with everything I want and custom parameters (nameserver, IP addresses, etc)? I would like this as a new VPS with a control panel install takes too long and it's never perfect.

Thanks in advance!
