Topic : Search engine visibility on staging doesn't affect production right?

I have Softaculous installed as part of the cPanels I have access to through my host's WHM.

One of the options when setting up a staging environment is

"Disable search engine visibility."

I presume that if I select this option this won't have any effect upon production right?

As in - only the staging will be deindexed and the robots.txt change won't be mirrored to production and that will index?

Sorry for the delay in response.

Yes this will affect only the Staging site and will not affect your Live site.
